Basic Auto Maintenance and Education
Change a tire, jump a battery, how to check your fluid levels, use your owner's manual, how to handle an accident, how car insurance works, and more. *Emergency auto kit included in registration.
Health and Safety
Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, signs of alcohol poisoning and drug overdose, how to identify mental health emergencies, and general safety tips. *Training tools and first aid kit included in registration.
Financial Literacy
Money management skills such as budgeting, credit, interest, tax basics, and more are broken down into manageable pieces using basic addition and subtraction, hands-on lessons, and visual aids. No advanced math skills required. *Life Binder included in registration.
Home Maintenance
Cooking terminology, measurements, and meal planning, basic home maintenance, understanding renter’s and homeowner’s insurance, and more.
Etiquette and Career Planning
Interpersonal and relationship skills, what employers are looking for in potential employees, cohabitating with roommates of any age, how to present yourself as a professional, when and how to ask for help, and more.

This one course condenses information from several other courses, saving hundreds of dollars in class fees AND thousands more in the avoided expensive mistakes many unprepared young adults make.

*Tuition includes 2-year Red Cross First Aid/CPR certification and a first aid kit, emergency auto kit, and a life binder to organize important documents as students move through the course.

***This is a FIVE DAY course (3 hours a day). Classes are not currently offered a la carte and many skills build on a prior day's training. There is no reduction in fees nor refund for partial participation for missed classes. All students WILL be treated as adults. Disrespectful or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated out of respect for the rest of the class.
